Requirements

  • Minimum ten (10) years construction experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity (preferably working on infrastructure projects such as underground pipelines, water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations)


  • High School diploma, GED, or associate’s or technical degree required; bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering is preferred


  • Experience in underground wet utilities (sewer and water main) and heavy civil work. Knowledge of earthwork, concrete form systems, concrete placement, metal work, pipe fitting, carpentry, and mechanical work


  • Self-starter with high motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision, with the ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding Orion’s policies, procedures, and software programs


  • Ability to identify and resolve any problems that may arise. Problem-solving skills


  • Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.


  • Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, scheduling, budget controls, labor controls, and contract administration.

Superintendent

Supervisory on-site field management and be responsible for multiple foremen, laborers, and craft workers. You will be responsible for organizing, developing work methods, scheduling, cost control, ensuring conformity with drawings and specifications, ensuring workmanship, and assigning work to accomplish the project's execution. We rely on our passionate, skilled, and safety-conscious construction professionals to get the job done right the first time.
