

Requirements
Minimum five (5) years of experience as a foreman, with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a leadership role of at least five (5) employees on a project site; inclusion of subcontractors preferred
High school diploma, GED, or associate’s or technical degree preferred (can be supplemented by experience)
Experience in underground utility construction for water, wastewater, or mechanical piping projects, excavation, or grading required; municipal or federal projects preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Thorough knowledge of field safety, established safety protocols, and relevant regulations; OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to manage a crew, coordinate tasks, and deal with the public
Ability to work in various weather conditions and respond to emergencies
Foreman
Supervises and directs a crew to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Key duties include managing daily crew activities, coordinating with supervisors, enforcing safety regulations, ensuring the quality of work, and overseeing logistics such as material and equipment management. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as physical fitness and the ability to operate heavy equipment.
